We have had so much going on lately that I have had no time to update this blog. We celebrated G's 8th birthday in October. She went to Build-A-Bear with several of her friends and ate at the mall food court. Good times!

We were able to attend the gymnastics expo at the BOK as well. It was a great show except for the fact that none of the male gymnastics wore shirts the entire time. I had four girls with wide open mouths for a while. I was suprised how provocative the show was. Disney must have sponsered it because we had to endure a concert from their up and coming new singers. Not so much fun.

We also saw the circus. I thought that it was better than the gymnastics expo. I think that the girls enjoyed it much better as well.

We have a few soccer games left. It looks like G's team will place 1st and P's team second (different leagues. Katie's league does not keep score! thank goodness, I am not sure their team have made many goals.

And so it begins.......another school year. We were excited to begin the new school year today. The lazy days of summer are over. Now soccer, volleyball, homework, and meetings consume our lives. Maybe at some point, I might find time to clean the house....maybe not.

camp

I have sent P off to camp for the first time this year. She did great, not sure how I did. I did not cry but I got a bit choked up when I took her to her cabin. She seems to be having a good time but I will not get a chance to talk to her until Saturday (when we pick her up) The camp website had a few pictures of her. She is in a green shirt. In the bottom picture she is in a brown shirt. You can click on the picture to make it bigger.

E and G are going to day camp this week as well. 9:00-5:00 It is just K and I. She is so bored. She really misses her sisters. E canoed today and G did some sort of obstacle course.

Happy Birthday!

Today was K's 5th birthday. She had her birthday party yesterday with her friends. We put up our waterslide and she invited some of her friends from school. We all had a great time. Nana and Papa came into town today to celebrate with her. She was born 5 years ago on Father's day so this was a special birthday. She informed me today that her clothes do not fit anymore because she is 5 instead of 4. haha.
P and G went to nana's house for a couple of days. It will be nice to separate the girls for a couple days since they were really beginning to get on each other's nerves. Summer is here.

C "coached" little K's soccer team this. He has the patience of Job!

He coached two teams this year, so he was really ready for soccer season to be over. We are both so worn out. I am really ready for summer and lazy days!

We were in Ark for Easter. We got a chance to visit with both of our families and see some old friends. The kids really enjoy doing the Easter Egg Hunt and ate way too much candy. We attended our old church and had Easter lunch with C's family.

We went to Branson for spring break. These are pictures from SDC. we had a great time with three other families (11 kids). It was really, really crowded but fun anyway.

Colonial Day

G had colonial day at school last Friday. We all dress up and learn how people lived in that time. She made jam, candles, cloth dolls and quilt making.
She had such a great time. We also eat a colonial lunch. E will have Oklahoma Day and P will have Greek Day this year. I included a slide show below.

Check out my Slide Show!

P had her first formal dinner at school last week. The 5th grade boys/girls took etiquette classes for a couple of weeks, then they put them to practice. She is here with her best friend (at their home) I was proud of her. The parents served dinner for the kids at another parents home. It was a great experience for them.

Dont Stop Believing!

Okay, the slide show is of C's 3rd grade girls team. We FINALLY won our first game on Saturday. E is number 23. I am not sure if she is even in some of the photo's because P took many of the pictures and there is not telling what she was thinking! Haha. You can see C on the sidelines.

Oh, another Valentines Day, another opportunity for matching pj's. I am not sure how much longer they are going to let me do this to them. V day becomes much more about the kids instead of the adults. We went to Wendy's for dinner!
What an exciting life we lead.

It is all about parties at school and Valentines for classmates. C did get me Lilly's (my favorite)
