vacation at Fin and Feather

Hello family,

I have added a slide show of some pictures from our vacation at Fin and Feather. We had a great time and we were really glad to get to see each other. I missed seeing some of you and hope that we can have a family reunion there in the future.
We rented a boat one day - Me, Chad, John, Tracy, Stacy, Kyle, Ashton, Paige and Emma. The kids got to tube for the first time which was really fun. Chad and I tubed and I am really sore today.

I created a Slide Show! Check it out!

Summer is finally here. I am looking foward to doing nothing all day except go to the pool. Paige will be in the 4th grade next year, Emma in the 2nd grade. Each of the girls had to make a semster project and Paige wrote a Hymn. It was really wonderful. She took it to her piano teacher and they put it to music and sang it together and recorded it.

Emma choose to make rice crispy treats. Our electricity ended up going out the night we were doing them, so we ended up in our neighbors kitchen. Thanks to Libby!!! (that is her kitchen above)

I am looking forward to seeing some of you at Fin and Feather resort this year. It looks like we might be having a mini-family reunion.

Today is Gracie's last day of preschool. She got to be a sunflower in her Fine Arts Day Performance. It is so hard to believe that she is growing up. When we started at the school, she was a little baby. Now, she will go to kindergarten. One of the pictures is with her teacher, Mrs Beard. This wonderful teacher has been such a blessing to us. Grace fell in love with her which made her year that much more special.
Paige and Emma are still in school until the 26th, so Grace will get some quiet time for a couple of weeks. We ate a Chuck-E-Cheese today in celebration of Grace's last day. It was nearly empty, so Chad and I did not have to fight any little kids in order to get to play games. (we love to play, too).

We went to Arkansas for Easter and had a great time. The weather was great. I have included a picture of Chad's sister's family. Tracy is pregant is with a girl.

We are almost out of school and I am so excited. I am ready for some lazy days. The neighborhood pool opens at the end of the month, and my girls are so excited. We go by it everyday on the way home from school. They are watching the progess of opening it.

Grace is out this Friday and Paige and Emma get out on the 26th. Yea!!!

Paige and I got to participate in Oklahoma Day at her school. We got to make homemade ice-cream, have a land run, and learn to play marbles and rag ball.

It was by far one of the funniest activities that we have had at school. We meet at a really old barn in South Tulsa owned by the Oxley Family.

Emma and I are dressed up for Colonial Day at her school. She got to make jam, quilt, dollmaking, and dip candles. We learned a lot about what it is like to live in Colonial Times.

This is New for Me.

Hello everyone,
I am going to try this and see if it works to let everyone know what is going on with my family.
Chad's cousin Suzanne blogs for her family and it is fun to read.
